History of Our Residential Mental Health Facilities
Bridges to Recovery was licensed in 2002 to bring the highest level of care to a residential treatment center for the healing of mental health disorders. We wanted to ensure that people could get the mental health treatment they need in an environment they prefer. We wanted to create a comfortable alternative to hospitalization – a six-bed, licensed facility in the most luxurious surroundings to ensure successful treatment.
In the summer of 2011, Bridges to Recovery opened a facility located in the hills of Bel Air, and most recently a new facility located in the luscious and exclusive Holmby Hills area. Both of these facilities offer private suites and the next level of luxurious treatment.
Today all three facilities are licensed as short-term residential treatment facilities by the department of Social Services and our programs are certified by the Department of Mental Health in California. This ensures the highest level of care in a comfortable residential setting. For many clients we provide an alternative to a traditional hospitalization.
Celebrating 10 Year as a licensed facility
Since 2002 Bridges to Recovery has provided licensed residential treatment to hundreds of clients suffering from behavioral and mental health disorders such as Depression, Anxiety and Bipolar disorders. Over the years our clinical teams has acquired valuable experience that has made Bridges to Recovery internationally renowned as a facility with a meticulously designed program for clients in need of mental health treatment such as Depression treatment, Anxiety treatment or Bipolar treatment.
We would like to honor Terry Eagan as our Founding Medical Director. His great vision ensured residential mental health treatment in our community and a program that continues to provide clients with the opportunity to develop carefully constructed ‘road maps’ for healthier and more productive lives.
