Documented Success

Mental health treatment at Bridges has proven to increase the client’s quality of life significantly. We observe that clients evolve from extremely dissatisfied with their quality of life (as measured by the Quality of Life Inventory) to being satisfied after a four to six week treatment using the QOLI T Life Quality Score index.

Upon admission, each client completes a Life Quality Inventory or QOLI assessment. This assessment provides a score that indicates a person’s overall satisfaction with life. From this assessment, a QOLI score is determined and provides an assessment of the client’s overall satisfaction with life.

Each client takes this assessment for a second time at the completion of his or her treatment. These scores provide evidence of the effectiveness of treatment received at Bridges to Recovery.
Clients Life Quality Score is based on how well their needs, goals, and wishes are being met in their life.

Licensed by the State of California

To ensure the highest level of care, Brides to Recovery decided to let our program be certified by the Department of Mental Health. The Department of Mental Health will ensure the quality of our program is ideal for treatment of a variety of different mental health and behavioral health issues such as Depression, Bipolar, Trauma and Anxiety.

Our facilities are also licensed by the Department of Mental Health to ensure our facilities always live up to the highest standards for mental health treatment.

Our facilities are licensed as Short Term Social Rehabilitation Facilities, with accommodation for only 6 beds in each facility. This type of facility is considered to be an alternative to a traditional hospitalization. We are therefore able to provide the highest level of clinical care in a comfortable boutique residential setting.

The department of Social Services as well as the Department of Mental Health does not only ensure that Bridges to Recovery is living up to their mental health treatment standards, but is also obligated to investigate any complaint you might have during the treatment.

Specialized in Psychological Disorders

Unlike some programs that emphasize treatment of chemical dependency, the focus of Bridges to Recovery is to address the primary underlying psychological issues, while providing therapeutic and psychosocial support for healing and personal growth.

We are licensed and specialized in mental health and psychological disorders such as Bipolar, Depression and Anxiety. We also treat more severe disorders, such as Psychotic and Dissociative Disorders.

Bridges to Recovery is surrounded by highly influential mental health resources such as UCLA, Pepperdine University and other leading psychoanalytic institutions.

Our interdisciplinary Clinical Team has strong ties to these organizations with leadership positions and supervising roles. In addition, our Clinical Team is constantly in touch with the most recent research and praxis within our field.

All of our primary therapists are psychoanalysts and at the doctoral level, a standard considered particularly unique for residential treatment.

The Department of Mental Health requires us to have a very high staff to client ratio of 1:1.6 and also requires for our care staff to have extensive experience.

A luxurious residential setting

Our boutique residential setting is extremely conducive to your healing process. It is important that you feel comfortable and relaxed when you go through the healing process.

Each facility accommodates only six beds. If you prefer you can request private suites to ensure additional privacy, but the small milieu ensures intimate individual care.

There are luxurious elements of our treatment program like your private chef who ensures healthy nutrition, stress releasing yoga sessions, relaxing acupuncture and the beautiful settings that are incorporated into the program to ensure your comfort.

We encourage visitations and contact with your support network. We also encourage family sessions as well as the use of your cell phone and personal laptop during the treatment.

Highest level of care

As a licensed and certified facility we provide the highest level of care in a residential setting. Our care is considered to be an alternative to hospitalization.

We provide Individual Psychodynamic Psychotherapy four to five times a week. This intensive treatment is unusual but makes for a faster recovery.

To ensure that you or your love one always has sufficient support and care we ensure a staff to client ratio of 1:1.6. This is considered a very high standard, and is in place for your comfort.

Medication prescribed and centrally stored on site

Your psychiatrist will supervise your medication during the treatment along with your multidisciplinary treatment team. You will meet with the psychiatrist on site where we will help you store the medication you need.

Our care staff is highly trained on how to assist you in with your medication.
