We specialize in intensive psychological and mental treatment.

Bridges to Recovery offers a full continuum of care, with individualized programs designed for people seeking psychotherapeutic treatment for a variety of psychological, social, and emotional problems.

We specialize in treating mood disorders (such as Depression, Bipolar Disorder, and unresolved grief), Anxiety and trauma-based disorders (such as social phobias, panic disordersPost-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Dissociative Identity Disorder, and problems associated with sexual, physical, and emotional abuse), relationship difficulties, and personality disorders (such as Borderline Personality Disorder). We also offer resources for clients who are experiencing difficult developmental transitions or who wish to explore and enhance their self-awareness and potential for growth. For people who have suffered from addiction problems, Bridges to Recovery also supports and encourages sobriety through our intensive therapy.

Hospitalization is sometimes required to manage a psychological crisis, but lasting recovery often requires a broader treatment program. We believe that individuals experience great resolution of their problems and enhanced personal growth when their treatment is customized to their particular needs and they progress at their own pace. At Bridges to Recovery, we facilitate healing by providing each person with a treatment plan that meets his or her specific needs and that diligently investigates resources for continued, competent, and appropriate clinical care after the individual leaves Bridges.

Clients who participate in any of the programs at Bridges to Recovery may participate in a variety of treatment activities, including intensive individual psychotherapy; individual somatic experiencing sessions; individual EMDR sessions; couples/family therapy; group therapies; adjunct therapies; and psychiatric consultation and monitoring. Our group and adjunct therapies provide a well-rounded and stimulating balance to the individual sessions. In keeping with our philosophy, our group and adjunct programs complement whole-person healing; these therapies include such interventions as art therapy, music therapy, nutritional counseling, supervised aerobic and weight training, yoga, meditation, acupuncture, and massage.
