For some patients, monthly, weekly, or even multiple weekly appointments will not provide enough support to facilitate therapeutic change. It is frustrating to see a patient approach the edge of insight during treatment sessions, only to move away from self-understanding during the intervals between appointments. Some of your patients will require a more containing and comprehensive environment in which to examine themselves.

Bridges to Recovery provides a setting in which clients can effectively re-focus on their therapeutic efforts in order to heal the wounds that are hampering their efforts to lead happy and fulfilled lives. The intensity of our treatment program – with four to five sessions of individual psychotherapy per week, group therapy sessions, skills training sessions, and recreational therapies – can make an extended stay at BTR a springboard for dramatic change that can be carried forward into daily life. A respite from mundane responsibilities makes it possible for BTR residents to focus on their core issues and to attain insights not readily discernible under the pressures of a work-a-day world.

At Bridges to Recovery, we understand that choosing a treatment center for your patient is an important decision with enduring implications for both your patient and for your therapeutic relationship. Our goal is to develop an aftercare plan that returns your patient to your care following their stay here. During your patient’s residence at BTR, we will consult with you and provide you with timely updates and clinical progress reports. We aim to provide your patient with an intensive therapeutic experience that will be a springboard for your ongoing work with them.

Bridges to Recovery operates three, six-bed, licensed facilities that combine intensive, individual psychodynamic psychotherapy (four to five sessions a week), along with group therapy (two to three sessions per day) in order to provide in-depth and holistic, integrated treatment. We will treat your patient’s complex and persistent psychiatric disorders while providing for their emotional, spiritual, and physical needs. The facilities differ from each other only in their physical layout, not the content of the therapeutic programs.

We provide comprehensive care for those suffering from primary psychiatric disorders, such as:
